Relief Society

Forks & Friends: Our luncheon will be on Monday, November 2nd at 12:00 in the multipurpose room. Cindy Stokes has a fun activity planned for us! Come relax, enjoy a potluck lunch and visit. All sisters are welcome! Those with last names from A-N bring a dish to share.

Inklings: If you haven’t been to our Inklings group before please consider joining us. Sister Emily Belle Freeman startd this group 7 years ago for all the sisters of the church to study General Conference talks and it has been a wonderful journey. This time she has asked us to add a Book of Mormon study to complete before Conference in April by reading 4 pages every day with the goal of looking or 2 things suggested in the prohpet’s talk:

• Action phrases so we can “act on these truths and share them”
• What great things the Lord has done

We meet next on Monday, November 9th, 2:00 pm in the YW room. We will study talks by President Oaks and Elder Renlund. Please join us.

We currently have a need for senior service missionaries in the following operations:

• Logan Utah Employment Resource Center – 4 individuals or 2 couples needed to assist Cache Valley residents in finding viable employment.  Must be comfortable using the computer.
• Cache Community Food Pantry – Individuals or couples to provide on-site support at the pantry, Mondays 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and/or Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• BYU-Pathway Worldwide Service Missionary Opportunity
• BYU-Pathway Worldwide Service Missionaries needed to work in PathwayConnect or EnglishConnect. Missionaries facilitate weekly gatherings at a local building or virtually through provided video conferencing software. Missionaries do not teach lessons, but rather serve in a shepherding, mentoring, and facilitating role. They also help create awareness of BYU-Pathway’s offering, educating both leaders and members in wards.
